Hey Jessica! Tell me about how you came to find your brand and creative style.
I started previously by working for a lot of big name designers in New York. I used to work in everything - menswear, bridal, womenswear. This gave me a lot of experience in testing different ideas and really allowing me to find what i like and am most drawn to. I was however only really fully able to figure this out once i lost all of my freelance work. I started making things for myself as if i had my own brand - what did i want? What would it look like?
You are based in New York. How do you feel New York has influenced you as a creative?
I have always lived in New York. It’s where i grew up so i am very much a true New Yorker. It’s been an influence my whole life! It’s made my garnments sexy, as New York is a very sexy place to live! When people think of New York they think of Sex and The City, Friends and things that are notoriously glamorous and known for its fashion. I think it definetly makes sense for me to be here and its a real part of my brands identity.
Where else would you say you find your inspiration as a designer?
I’m inspired by a lot of things. I love the bubbly Y2K aesthetic, Barbies, Bratz and Disney Princesses! Very visual things. Things that are sexy, bright, fun... but still very tasteful.

Your designs have been featured on the likes of Brooke Candy and Noah Cyrus. How does this feel for you to see such inspiring women wearing your designs ?!
It feels amazing and i’m very lucky to have had these oppourtunities! I owe a lot to the stylists that have faith in me. It’s very rewarding and i like to say that i design for these women that fit the strong, sexy and confident values that my designs embody - it’s very fulfilling. It feels amazing.
Is there anyone you would love to see wearing your designs in the future?
Right now i’m obsessed with Dua Lipa - i think her team is incredible! She’s really becoming a style icon, which is really amazing for someone so young.

Is sustainability something that is important to you?I feel like sustainability is such a big word right now and i think there’s a lot of greenwashing going on in the world. When brands think that they may be, ‘sustainable’, or, ‘ethical’, but see it more as a box ticked.
There’s so many aspects to sustainability, from how garnments are made, to who makes them or how much water / gasoline is used. For me i think the ways i can say my garnments are sustainable is that they are made well and last a long time. They’re made of real crystal and are made well.
“A lot of my pieces are made to be heirlooms that are meant to be passed through generations so won’t end up in landfill or being thrown away. They are pieces you are going to want to keep”

Tell me about your experience working alongside Savage X Fenty for their most recent December 2020 show.
I had been in touch with the stylist behind the show, and she had asked me to create some custom looks, so i made them to fit the models and had them shipped to LA. I’m still in shock it all happened and it’s definetly one of the highlights of my whole year!
Your Instagram bio talks of the concept of Girl Power, which i love ! How do you feel you are able to incorporate this into your brand?
I am such a fan of a powerful badass woman! I hope my pieces make people feel like the badass princess rockstars they are!
I have a natural flair to create things that are more edgy, yet still feminine and fun.
